For several years, our parish permanently engaged in charity and during that time most we became friends with the “social rehabilitation centers for children without parental care” in Kropyvnytskyi city Kirovograd region in Ukraine.
We loved the pupils of this institution, and our parishioners and members of the parish are empathizing for their fate. Every month we manage to collect a large amount of clothing, footwear and toys for them. For every need of this orphanage, we try to respond and help – whether with school supplies and backpacks, or with hygiene, medicine, vitamins. Our parishioners and friends of the parish also help with the purchase of new plumbing and electrical appliances.
Pupils of the children’s home, accustomed to our care, constantly asks caregivers about us – wondering who it helps those who care for them. The vast majority of these children had never seen and did not have these things that we share. Once the package comes next – things quickly find their new owners. According to the mentor, Snizhana, in these moments in a room full of positive emotions, shine in the eyes and sincere joy she talks about their feelings!
As a sign of gratitude, the older group of students of this institution, staff and manager, decided to send us an official “Thank You” and letters from children with the words of love and gratitude, which we decided to share with you!
