Our parishioner Helen Talaniec passed away on March 12, 2023.
Born in Passaic, Helen was a resident of Clifton and parishioner of our Holy Ascension Church for many years.
Helen worked as a librarian for the Clifton Public Library, Allwood Branch, for many years before retiring.
Beloved wife of the late Robert Talaniec. Loving sister of Leonid “Lenny” Bulya and his wife Liliya Sikyrynska. Aunt of Roksolana Sikyrynska. Helen will be missed by her extended family including her aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting Wednesday, March 15, 4 – 8PM (6 PM – Panakhyda-Memorial service) at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
Funeral Thursday 10 AM at the funeral home and 11AM at Holy Ascension Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, South Bound Brook.
